I'm a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a passion for helping people reclaim their voice, especially when life has taught them to stay quiet. I specialize in working with all persons on issues like assertiveness, boundary-setting, anxiety, and people-pleasing, particularly when shaped by religious expectations, relationship dynamics, or cultural roles. My approach is down-to-earth, empowering, and focused on real, lasting change. Clients often come to me for the warmth and understanding I offer, but stay because I help them grow. I believe healing starts with the desire to look inward and challenge the stories we’ve been told, or told ourselves, about who we need to be. One of the most powerful shifts I see in therapy is when clients learn that their feelings are valid, but the narrative behind them might not be true. That separation creates space for transformation. If you're tired of shrinking yourself to make others comfortable, therapy can be a place to finally breathe. You don’t have to have it all figured out, just a desire to feel more like you. If you're ready to feel heard, supported, and gently challenged, I’d be honored to walk with you through whatever you’re carrying.
